‘Power of Seven’ or PO7 involves seven non-competing SME business owners meeting every second month in a totally confidential setting with professional facilitation. They exchange experiences and ideas in a structured way to help overcome their most critical issues, and identify opportunities for growth. Members provide each other with dispassionate and unbiased feedback, advice, ideas and sometimes challenge. It’s like having your own personal board of advisors to help you.
Kinvara-based Barry Walsh is a highly experienced SME strategy and management development consultant, trainer, and coach who set up PO7 nine years ago. Many successful groups have since been established.
Shannon Chamber is proposing to establish a Shannon Chamber Power of Seven group and is holding an Information Session on the concept at 8a.m. on Friday, October 27 at which Barry Walsh will outline in detail how the concept works. At that session, a local businessman Martin Dolan, Commercial Director, Modular Automation Ireland Ltd – will also elaborate on his experience of PO7.
