We listened to our members’ concerns about the lack of opportunity to meet with like-minded professionals in their specific areas of expertise and have set up a number of Forums to enable executives exchange ideas, issues and share best practice.
The Forums are exclusive to experienced professionals in each respective area of expertise. Forum members meet formally up to four times a year.
CEO Forum: provides a platform at senior management level to facilitate debate, discussion and decision making on issues affecting business at regional and national level.
This Forum is chaired by Kevin Thompstone, the Thompstone Group.
H&S Forum: is a network for H&S professionals in the region for sharing of knowledge and sharing of best practice.
This Forum is chaired by Brendan Roche, Manager, Quality Dept., Quality Assurance/EHS, Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon.
HR Forum: brings senior HR professionals together to share best practice and thinking in HR and employment law and creates a network among HR executives in the Shannon region.
This Forum is chaired by Derek McKay, Managing Director, Adare Human Resource Management.

Retail Forum (in formation): will provide retailers in Shannon with a “space” where they can meet other retailers; discuss common issues and perhaps discover ways of working together to the benefit of all but most especially to the benefit of Shannon customers.
